Manitoba (Manitoba) is a provincial, first-level administrative unit in south-central Canada. "Manitoba" in the Aboriginal language means "a place where spirit lives" and is known as "the sun capital of Canada". Manitoba has 10 cities under its jurisdiction and the provincial capital is Winnipeg. The province has four distinct seasons, with a colder winter climate and warmer summers. The rivers and lakes include the Nelson River and the Churchill River. Manitoba is located to the east of the three prairie provinces, to the north of Nunavut, to the east to Ontario, to the south to the United States, and to the west to Saskatchewan. Due to its central location in Canada, Manitoba is also a transportation hub throughout Canada.
